Study in United Kingdom

The UK is one of the world’s most popular destinations to study higher education, with more than 500,000 international students enrolling each year. One of the world’s leading destinations for international students, second only to the USA. UK universities are among the best in the world, and consistently perform well in world rankings. They also have a reputation for world-class research. UK higher education degrees and qualifications are recognised by employers and academics worldwide.

  1. Work Part-time while you study: In the UK as an international student, you’re allowed to work up to 20 hours at maximum per week during term-time and full-time during holiday breaks.
  2. You can bring your spouse and family to the UK: International students are eligible to bring their partner and children to the UK on a dependant visa. Your partner and children may be eligible to apply for dependant visas as well.
  3. Quicker to complete: In the UK, you can usually complete an undergraduate degree in 3 years if you study full time. A master’s degree usually takes 1 year.  This is in contrast to other countries such as the USA and Canada, where undergraduate degrees take at least 4 years to complete, and a master’s degree takes 2 years to finish.
  1. High standard of Education: One other reason why you should study in the UK is that universities in the UK are inspected regularly by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA). This ensures they maintain excellent standards in learning, research and teaching.
  2. .Meet people from all over the world: The UK is a tolerant, multicultural country — in fact, you’ll find people here from almost every country on Earth! According to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), the UK is the second most popular study destination in the world.
  3. Post-study work Permit: International students who start their studies in the UK in 2020 or after will benefit from the new post-study work visa (PSW) for graduates. This usually means a work and residence permit of 24 months (2 years) after graduation.
